About the Author

After moving halfway around the world to live in New Hampshire, USA, from Melbourne, Australia, due to her husband’s work, Margaret J. Scott had a strong desire to record her first fifty years of an amazing life. With time on her hands, she was re-invented as she delved into her former life. The more she reflected, the desire to put it in writing and share the experiences became stronger.

Scott’s life began as a dairy farmer’s daughter happily living in rural Victoria, Australia, and then choosing to became a Registered Nurse and Midwife as a means to travel and explore life to the fullest, then later upgrading her education to a degree of BA Health Sciences.  Her nursing career took her on a journey where she worked as a remote bush nurse in a ski resort giving her opportunity to feed her adventuring spirit. With their three sons, she continued working as a Nurse Co-coordinator in a rural hospital. Forced into another direction with her career after being blown out the back door with Post Traumatic Stress disorder, the author then moved into Corporate Health becoming an educator, researcher and Nurse Immuniser, designing and developing preventative health programs to prevent people from going to hospital.
